Short version: we collect what you type into our forms and what a standard analytics tag sees, we use it to answer you and to run the business, we don’t sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.
Fussy Penguins LLC runs fussypenguins.com and the services described on it. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Amazon. For anything in this policy, write to office@fussypenguins.com.
What you send us. When you use a form on this site (the rescue request, the audit order, the newsletter signup) you give us what the form asks for: your name, email, phone if you include it, brand name, and a description of your situation. During a rescue case you may also send us Amazon notices, invoices, certificates, labels, test reports and Seller Central access.
How you got here. If you arrive from an advert, the link carries campaign identifiers (Google’s gclid, gbraid and wbraid, and utm_ tags). We keep those in your browser for the visit and attach them to a form you send, so we know which advert brought you.
Analytics and advertising. With your consent, Google Analytics 4 and the Google Ads tag record pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and whether a form was sent. Without your consent they run in a cookieless mode that records aggregate counts only. The cookie banner records your choice in your browser; you can change it by clearing site data.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records IP address, request time and page for security and debugging, as every web host does.
We do not sell your information, share it with anyone for their own marketing, or use case materials for anything other than your case and anonymised examples of the kinds of work we do.
Each of these processes data under its own terms and on our instructions. Some of them are in the United States; if you are outside it, your data crosses a border when you send it to us.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us using it for marketing. Email office@fussypenguins.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We will confirm it is you, usually by replying to the email address we hold, and answer within 30 days. Where we must keep something, such as an invoice, we will say so.
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, these rights come from the GDPR and you can also complain to your data protection authority. If you are in California, they come from the CCPA; we do not sell or share personal information as the CCPA defines those terms, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
This site is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think we have, tell us and we will delete it.
When this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. The version in force when you sent us your information is the one that applies to it.
